Model Answers: Let’s Ask Eido

Eido
  1. Akihabara. It’s a shopping district for anime, manga, video games and computer goods. It’s also a center for otaku culture and draws a lot of tourism.
  2. Yes, I have. I went to Tokyo Dome to watch a Tigers vs Giants game about three years ago. It was intense. I remember thinking there were way more people in Tokyo than I expected.
  3. Kazunari Ninomiya. He is a singer, songwriter, actor, presenter and radio host.
  4. He was born in Katsushika, Tokyo on June 17, 1983. He will be thirty-six this year. I don’t think he is married and I don’t think he has any children. He is most famous either for being a member of the group Arashi or for being in the Hollywood movie “Letters From Iwo Jima”.
  5. I think life in Tokyo would be incredibly busy. My life in Nara is very quiet by comparison. I would like to live there for a while just for the experience but I think it might be too busy for me!
  6. Tokyo is the capital of Japan and is the biggest city. It makes sense that many foreign tourists want to visit there. I think when most people think of modern Japan and Japanese stereotypes, they are imagining Tokyo.
